Well today was Cam's first day in scuba dive classes and well I must say he hasnt stopped talking about it since he got back 3 hours ago.... yes thats right I have been a great wife, smiling, nodding, showing interest while hearing about diving in the pool and learning about........ well.... I obviously wasnt listening very well cause I cant tell you exactly what they did in the pool but all I know or care about is Cam had a fabulous time. He has 3 more days to go of classes. Tomorrow back in the pool. and sunday and monday he heads out to Julian Rocks dive park which he is really excited about.
Again I'll pat myself on the back for getting him such a great xmas present.... what a great wife I am.... ha!!
Although this year my birthday present is AWESOME!!! So I guess we're even. What a great husband Cam is too!!

Mother Nature at her best
So recently Shawn had some locals introduce him to Dalwood Falls. Of course since then we have all been there and have falling in love with this magic place. Not only is the cliff diving scary yet invigorating.... it amazing these falls are only bout 15 minute drive form our house in the opposite direction of the beach. Its not a public place with signs and a parking lot. You literally would have no idea it was there.
The falls, as we have nicknamed them, seems to be the place we want to go and chill and get away from anything. When we leave this place I really wish I could take these falls with me.

Anyway we had fun and I'm glad I could help out... although I'm told I only got the part because I'm the only female anyones knows with the right accent.... WHAT THE????

A 'MUST DO' road trip
The 12 Apostles are a collection of natural limestone stacks just off the coast of Port Campbell National Park. This is also on the famous Great Ocean Road drive that is in Victoria, Oz.
The stacks have been formed by erosion. A number of the stacks have started falling so that is why Belinda and I thought its important to go see them while they are still around.
This drive, although it took us about 16 hours to drive only approx. 600kms, is one of the most amazing drives I have seen. I mean I have driven the Vancouver to Red Deer drive which is also one beautiful scenic drive but this was different. The beaches were amazing, the wildlife was everywhere, the waterfalls and hike no more than 10 kms off the main drag..... its was like going from hot sunny beach to deep dark rainforest within 5 minutes. This trip was amazing. If you ever have the chance to do this drive, please do it!! You wont regret it I promise.

Oliver and his Fungi

For those of you that didnt know you are about to learn something new about Fungi. Apparently Canine Fungi is the same thing as Ringworm. And our poor baby who is really struggling being here in this heat has now got Ringworm aka fungi. WHAT THE?????
He has to be on 5 weeks of medication (cha ching $$$$$) and the meds dont make him feel very good. My poor bub. Hes soo super cute and doesnt need this shit. The vet also proceeds to tell me that Oli is is German Shepard and they dont do hot climates very well and hence all Olis skin problems since we've been here. GREAT!!! Well the good news is that it is getting better and we only have about 10 more months in this country before we will probably be heading back to a more suitable climate..
the things you learn with a trip to the vet!!

Free Trip To Melbourne
Me in city
Belinda and I are London Bridge Rock formation
Me at Bells BeachHi guys,
I (Lee here) just got back from a free trip to Melbourne for 5 nights. My friend Belinda won this trip which also included a lunch with Roger Federer. It was super fun. I love that place. The beautiful old style buildings, the lack of homeless people hassling you, all the trendy cafes, jazz bands in every street, the business people in their trendy suits and $500 haircuts. LOVE IT!! Don't know why but I always feel great while I'm in Melbourne. I fit in there... well minus the $500 haircut (I last paid $40 and I thought that was steep).
I think if Cam is going to apply for jobs in Australia after he graduates then I have voted Melbourne our #1 destination.
Oh and like I mentioned Belinda and I also had this lunch with the worlds number one tennis player Roger Federer. Belinda is crazy about this guy so it was all very exciting. I do have pictures but not on my computer right now so I will posted pictures in the near future. For now here are some pics I have now and stay tuned for more pics in next couple days.....
